Opera 8 for Series 60 is released
I found this to be a major improvement over the previous version, which always caused memory errors in my 6600 and 6630. This seems to be a robust and stable piece of software, which renders html pages absolutely beautifully. And the scroll down feature is really speedy -- you can get to the bottom story on the front page of www.nytimes.com in seconds rather than (what it seems like sometimes on the built in 6630 browser) in minutes.

I only have two complaints. First, it doesn't wrap lines on certain wap pages, like Yahoo!. And second, it is significantly slower than Netfront. I'll keep playing with the settings and see if I can speed it up.
